Residency Showing with Ida Hebsgaard Mogensen

Hudløs is aimed at young adults. Especially queer people who have felt pressured to hide parts of themselves to fit normative expectations. This creates an internal dissonance, a tension between the self one shows and the self one feels. Hudløs explores these experiences through physicality, humor, and the abject body, opening a space where feelings of difference, shame, and self can be recognized and shared. It invites audiences to reflect on how we inhabit our bodies, how we are seen, and how we might claim space for more fluid, complex ways of being.

I imagine sharing excerpts from the work, elements of the choreographic score, and opening a conversation about the questions that have emerged during the residency. Depending on where the process leads, the sharing could also include a workshop, participatory elements, or other ways of inviting the audience into the research.
