Next Deadline: June 20 for residencies September to December 2025

The residency program is open for all professional artists working within contemporary dance. We invite proposals from performance projects to research or artistic practice development.

 

The residencies include one week (Monday to Friday, from 12:00-17:00) of free workspace in PRAXIS Oslo’s 83 sqm studio space at Hausmania, ending with an open sharing on the last day. The sharing can be, for example, a work-in-progress sharing, open rehearsal, demo performance or talk depending on the format of the project.

All residency artists will receive a free PRAXIS clipcard which allows them to attend PRAXIS morning classes through the semester of their residency.

 

Some extended residencies will be offered in July, August, December and January each year. These will offer full days in the studio from 9:00-17:00.

Exact residency weeks will be posted December 6th, 2024.

 

Fees, accommodation or travel costs are not included in the residency.
