In Autumn 2023, PRAXIS Oslo is collaborating with PRAKSIS to support their R24: Held ~ Experiments in Touch with Touch Praxis.

Take part in our Touch Salon, exploring touch through a series of activities. Learn about the residency through text and video, or join the residents in experimenting with props and playing touch-based games.

Taking place from 4–25 September, PRAKSIS's twenty-fourth residency, Held ~ Experiments in Touch, invites a multidisciplinary group of artists and others to explore touch as a creative medium.

The residency is developed with Touch Praxis collaborators Nina Sarnelle and Selwa Sweidan, and convened in collaboration with Praxis Oslo, a laboratory for the study of dance and movement. Through collective work Held will engage with fields such as multisensorial spectatorship, environmental toxicities, queer theory, racial & disability justice, or practices of collectivity/consent.
