INTRODUCTION TO PRAXIS OSLO 

PRAXIS Oslo is a laboratory for the study of dance and movement. We offer movement classes, workshops and meeting spaces for artists in the field of dance. PRAXIS Oslo is a non-profit organisation created by freelance artists for freelance artists, that grew out of a need to gather and share knowledge of artistic practices in the performing arts community; specifically in the field of experimental dance and performance.

DESCRIPTION OF THE RESIDENCY

The residency program is open for all professional artists working within contemporary dance. We invite proposals from performance projects to research or artistic practice development.

The residencies include one week (Monday to Friday, from 12:00-17:00) of free workspace in PRAXIS Oslo’s 83sqm studio space at Hausmania, ending with an open sharing on the last day.
