Through a relaxed focus and deep listening we will discover known and unknown movement that is already present in our bodies and let it unfold. By doing this in different situations and constellations, we will explore the performative potential of approaching oneself.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Oda Olivia is a performer and dance maker from Norway with an MA in dance from Oslo National Academy of the Arts (2023). Her work as an artist is characterized by willingness towards naivety to access spectrums of patience and suddenness, gentleness and explosivity. Her amazement with the body’s subtle information ignites a current interest of questioning where movements come from, grounded in empirical somatic work and improvisational practices. Using underlying and autonomous movement as a tool for dancing, she searches for unexpectedly recognizable situations and feelings to create from.
