In Forest Within Michael work with roots and wings as symbols. The roots represents our origin in nature and the wings our connection to the spiritual realm. Michael Aspli began exploring his praxis Forest Within parallel with his year long voyage up north, living on a mountain-farm with no neighbors in his ancestral land south-west Trøndelag, Norway. At the same time he had a premier in Rosendal Theater with a dance performance named the same - Forest Within - in late autumn 2020.
