Movement | Text Practice:

Lisa Colette Bysheim will share her practice of working with text, voice and improvisation. We will talk and dance at the same time, layering tasks and intentions on top of each other — resulting in longer playful improvisations. We will systematically work with opening up associations to words and their meaning, moving through a landscape of fragmentations. We will explore how language is constructed, moves and transforms by playing with the sound of words/voice, and how this affects physicality. This will be done alone, in duets and group constellations.

Biography:

Lisa Colette Bysheim is a dancer and choreographer from Bergen, Norway. Her work centres around language; playing with ambiguous text and choreography to open and expand the experience of navigating through layers of meaning.
