Throughout these days, we will explore movement as a physical, visceral, and pleasurable practice. Starting with a gentle warm-up, drawing from a collection of ‘exercises’ I’ve gathered over the years—simple principles or tasks to awaken the body, build heat, and make the body available (as I like to call it). The focus is to ground ourselves, tune into our senses, and find a connection to our own physicality, whatever that looks like on the day.

From there, I will invite you into explorations that combine things like repetition, effort or attempts, and embodied curiosity. I will share materials and ideas I’m currently working on—tasks that invite us to move with a specific intention or a way of listening in—and being fully invested in a dance.
