PRAXIS Praksis is a 3 day long 'morning sharing' where we have invited several dance artists who will hold a space in which they share their ways into dancing; this can be through their daily routine, a choreographic practice, or other approaches into moving that have inspired them.

The classes are 1.5 or 2 hours long starting at 09:30.

Each class is 50kr.

The doors will open 9:15,

We ask you to come in good time, as the space is not easy for late-comers.

DESCRIPTION 

Is presence a field we move on?

The inquirie is: how to make visible the invisible from the visible?

We cannot even make presence, we (as body) cannot don't be present, what we can is enrich its power of affection on us; presence is before naming anything, acnowledgement of anything is a late happening, when we notice, the next thing already happened, the thing here is how to be whole with life, to be awaken with it while it occurs, and enrich our field as creators, being, moving, working in the place where less is more.

BIO

If I would live from the glory of the past, I would tell you that I have 18years of surrendering life to dance, and that when I was child I used to dance a lot. And even, i could say about recognizements, goals, progress. I could say that I was awarded as best dancer, that i was nominated as best dancer another time and director, that I have an award for artistic and research excellence, that I have a master's degree, that I travelled 24 countries teaching, dancing, organizing festivals, labs, retreats, residencies.

I could say that I was part of Experimental dance group for several years, as student and teacher. That I had funds for creating art pieces that was awarded and nominated, and for studying and travelling.

But really, if I cannot forget about that, you will not reach me, there is too many past, too many "I", let's just understand that "wrinkles are the knowledge" and body knows where to go.

If we trust, we will meet at a common field, the field of presence, the only place were dancing, learning and teaching can happen.

Life is happening now, as an action, a force, full of mistery and grace, is from there that I want us to be guided.
