We are starting a fundraiser to support the cost of creating our new studio for the community!

It has been our long-term mission to find a permanent home for PRAXIS Oslo and finally on September 19th we will be opening the doors to Himmelrommet at Hausmania as our new base.

We have wanted to create a space that can facilitate classes, artistic exchange, residencies and meetings, as well as offer affordable workspace in a central location. To make this happen as soon as possible, we decided to jump at the chance and renovate the space ourselves and without securing funding beforehand.

So far the new dance floor has cost approximately 55 000kr.

Opening this space now in Autumn 2023 instead of later in 2024, has been made possible by the financial effort of some board members and countless hours of volunteer work cleaning, carrying, painting and building in the space over August and September.

We wish to thank every single volunteer for all their work.

This space really is created by the dance community for the dance community!
