trying to find the most intimate dance 

This residency sharing will be an open rehearsal where I will share some of the ideas we have worked on during the week. Together I hope we can reflect on empathy, exhaustion and intimacy. 

Through this project I am focusing on exploring choreography from the point of view of the performer. Understanding performance making from this point of view, has for me meant composition choices that are rooted in the personhood of the performer. If the composition makes sense to me as a performer, it hopefully makes sense to an audience. This way, I am attempting to share the intimate or personal experience I have while performing, live with the audience.
