DESCRIPTION

How #Metoo changed the dance world – reflecting on 5 years of collective work

How do we know and celebrate our boundaries?  Ilse Ghekiere will speak about her research into sexism and sexual harassment in the Belgium dance field and how it started the movement Engagement Arts. In this talk, Ghekiere will expand on her findings and the question of ethics in our field, and reflect on the many-layered changes that have taken place in our field over the last five years. The lecture will draw parallels with the Norwegian context and give time for exchange between the participants.

Read an interview with Ilse on the topic from Norsk Shakespearetidsskrift here.
