PRAXIS Praksis is a 3 day long 'morning sharing' where we have invited several dance artists who will hold a space in which they share their ways into dancing; this can be through their daily routine, a choreographic practice, or other approaches into moving that have inspired them.

The classes are 1.5 or 2 hours.

NOTE: 

• This PRAXIS Praksis happens only twice, Monday and Tuesday 10:00-12:00.
• There is a MAX capacity of 3 people/class
• You may only attend the class one of the days!

Each class is 50kr.

Meeting at Olaf Ryes Plass

DESCRIPTION

We will meet at 10:00 at Olaf Ryes plass in Grünerløkka! Walking together at a good tempo to the studio as a warm up. Wear good shoes and walking gear. 

In the studio, or outdoors, I listen and sense my way to bring out the unknown, the secretive, that which hasn’t appeared before. It’s the body that  moves, to reveal the body’s phenomenology. The experience the body possesses is made visible through improvisation.

One on the floor, the others sit and observe, participating with their presence.

When the one on the floor is finished, the next one goes on in its reverberation.

NOTE: Limited capacity of 3 people/session, and you may only attend one of the sessions!

BIO

Terje Tjøme Mossige is educated at the Norwegian Academy of Ballet, 1984-1987, and working  as a freelance dance artist for "100" years. Toured at home and abroad with various groups/constellations. Taught at KHIO, DOCH, Stockholm, etc.

2023/2024 dancing in productions by Steffi Lund, Solveig Styve Holte, Janne-Camilla Lyster, Geir Hytten, Magnus Myhr and Ingvill Langaard, BANANAZ, with Ingeleiv Berstad and Pernille Holden.
