In the classes I want to share the dancefloor, while exploring how improvisation is used as a tool for both warming up our bodies but also as an entrance to actually producing materials. I enjoy working with desires, playfulness and pleasure when dancing in the studio, alone or together with others and in relation to the music.

About the artist:

Rina Rosenqvist is a Norwegian/Venezuelan dance artist based in Oslo with a BA in dance from UiS (2016). She works as a dancer, choreographer and collaborator in different artistic contexts and constellations (dance, performing arts, theatre, concert, visual art). She has worked for artists such as Bananaz, Ludvig Daae, Ida Wigdel, Kristine Blir Rapper, Inés Belli, Linda Birkedal, Theater F, Goro Tronsmo, Hagit Yakira, Roskva Yasmin Andersen, Live Skullerud, Mari Angell and Infopsin. Her own work has been presented at Dansens Hus, RAS, Bærum Kulturhus, LungA Festival (Iceland) and List i Ljosi (Iceland). Rina is one of the founding members of Montebøllo, an interdisciplinary workspace and meeting point for artists with various disciplines from the contemporary art field in Oslo.
