PRAXIS Movement is a physical class series that offers different experiential approaches to embodiment, movement and consciousness to support our dancing bodies and dance-making.

Each class is 50kr.

DESCRIPTION

Organ support, container - content

We will explore some of our internal organs in relationship to surrounding structures. Through movement, voice, touch, and somatizations we will approach the voluminous and three-dimensional feeling of organs, how they can initiate and support movement and affect our perception and sense of moving.

BIO

Gry Kipperberg is a dance artist based in Oslo. She studied at Khio and Merce Cunningham Studio in New York and has worked with several companies, choreographers, and other dancers since 1990. In 1999 she established the company Wee together with Francesco Scavetta, with whom she has worked and toured extensively internationally. Throughout her career Gry has studied and practiced various somatic practices and was certified as a BMC Practitioner in 2022. As a dancer she has received several grants, was awarded the Rolf Gamlengprisen in 2012 and is employed by Skuespiller- og Danseralliansen since 2013.
