As we enter the jam, we enter the agreement that none of us knows what will happen. During this time, emergence is our practice.

We will meet in the neighbouring Vega cafe at 18.45 and walk up together.

Contact Improvisation investigates  how our bodies move while in physical contact with each other while playing with the physical laws that govern motion: mass, gravity, momentum and inertia. Contact improvisation trains our bodies in sensory awareness, weight bearing partnering skills and improvisation. As a social dance it defines and asserts boundaries of intimacy, trust and self. It is a physical practice in democracy that can be profoundly meditative and acrobatic in the same moment.
