About the event
ABOUT:
In this evening we will share some of the process on how we work together and engage other artists. And talk about what matters for us most when we make artistic decisions!
Also we will look together at the fragments of news, creative pieces, landscapes and objects that we admire and find inspiring!
BIO:
Roza Moshtaghi is an Iranian artist who lives and works in Oslo. Her creations often are situated within the performing arts field as a choreographer/dancer and performer. Her works deal with the unexplained narratives of desire generated in the process of adapting or reacting to systems/structures. The ordinary, or rather what we have forced inside the uniform of the ordinary, is Roza's playground. She looks for possibilities to hypothesize "the hidden" by digging into the ordinary as a silent landscape.
Ronak Moshtaghi is a visual artist with a passion for collaborative processes of thinking and making. Her practice focuses on the development of an interdisciplinary poetic language that integrates different media such as sound, text, sculpture, drawing, stage design, and so on. However, her works often need to be activated, either by the interaction of the performers or by the presence of the visitor. Looking for ways to foster this interactive relationship, she explore themes such as intimacy, secrecy, disclosure, power and politics.
She was born in Tehran and received her education at Tehran Art University and the National Academy of Arts Oslo. Ronak currently lives in Oslo and Berlin and has participated in local and international exhibitions including Kunsthall Oslo, Louise Dany, Oslo, Destiny's Atelier, Oslo, BlackBox Theatre, Oslo, The Mosaic Rooms, London and October Dance, Bergen.
